A few years ago, I had the chance to work on a wonderful RPG project for Phoenix Labs. Unfortunately, the project was eventually cancelled, but it was filled with so much heart, care, and incredible artistic direction that it still remains one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had.
Most of my work is connected to the animation industry, so stepping into game development, especially creating characters for an RPG universe became a huge learning experience for me. There’s something fascinating about RPG design: the way every silhouette, costume, prop, and small visual decision carries traces of worldbuilding, psychology, and gameplay all at once. It pushed me to think about character creation.
The team was absolutely sensational, and I had the opportunity to help create characters for a genre and universe I deeply love. Even though the project never reached the public, I still feel very grateful for everything I learned and for all the talented people I met during the process.
Here’s a small glimpse of some of the work I did. There’s much more over on my Artsation, although honestly, I’ll probably never be able to post everything, there’s simply too much material.
And once again, thank you so much to everyone who follows and supports my work here. It truly means a lot to me. I love you all <3
